Advanced Theatre Acting Class
This is important information for students in the Advanced Theatre Acting Class. If you would like to be a part of the One-Act (The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged) or Readers Theater (Being Bianca: The Semi-Complete Guide), auditions will be held on Monday, December 7 after school in room 141. You do not need to prepare anything for this audition. Also, as the semester approaches, you will want to be thinking about two contrasting monologues for the class. We will start with your first monologue on day two in the class, and then will do the second as soon as we finish with the first. We will do as many in a day as we can, so we can move on to our Review Showcase. You might give some thought as to what you would like to do for the Showcase. Broadway numbers and scenes from plays are what we will be doing. Everyone has to do at least one or the other. I hope to see you on Monday, December 7. If you have any conflicts or questions, please see me before then.
