DIRECTOR
Michael Butcher - Mr. Butcher directs the fall musical production and the spring play.  In addition, he serves as the technical director for all three mainstage productions and sponsor of Drama Club (Kickapoo's Thespian Troupe 1151). Courses taught include Theatre Arts I, Theatre Arts II Tech, and Theatre Arts II Acting.  Mr. Butcher is a Kickapoo Theatre Alum and a 1986 graduate.  He began teaching at Kickapoo in 1999.  After high school he attended Missouri State University and graduated with a degree in Speech and Theatre Education with a minor in Religious Studies.  He later attained his MSE with emphasis in Humanities from Drury University.  He has taught a variety of subjects at three other high schools and Ozarks Technical Community College.  He serves as an instructor for Drury's Pre-College Program for the Gifted and for the Missouri Fine Arts Academy.  (mbutcher@spsmail.org)

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Danielle Romay - Ms. Romay sponsors Poetry Out Loud, teaches Theatre Arts I & English, and directs readers theater.  Performing arts are her passion.  Ms. Romay is an alumni of the University of Missouri - Kansas City, earning a degree in Secondary English Education with a minor in Theatre Education.  Ms. Romay taught speech/debate and theatre at Liberty North High School from 2012-2014, but has found her home at Kickapoo.  (dnromay@spsmail.org)

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
John Mello - Mr. Mello directs the 6-9 grade musical, teaches theatre and English courses, leads the improv team, sponsors drama club at Cherokee Middle School, and writes and directs readers theater.  Mr. Mello is an alumni of Missouri State University, earning a degree in Theatre Education.  While there he worked on various university productions and was the head-writer of the sketch comedy group The Jabberwocky Guild.  He has also been in various improv groups such as MSU's Improv Impaired, UMR's Perfect Ten Improv, The Skinny Improv, and The Improvadors.  Mr. Mello has been at Kickapoo since 2009.  (jemello@spsmail.org)

MANAGER/TECHNICIAN
Austin Butcher
- Mr. Butcher is a graduate of Kickapoo. Mr. Butcher attended MSU and was employed by Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. Mr. Butcher's experiences include working numerous tours that have made their way through Springfield and three years as Kickapoo's Performing Arts Center Manager and Technician.

VOCAL DIRECTOR
Nathan Cornelius - Mr. Cornelius is a native of eastern Iowa. Mr. Cornelius holds an Associate of Arts degree from Waldorf College in Iowa, a Bachelor of Music Education from Augsburg College Minnesota, and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Missouri State University. Mr. Cornelius is in his 20th year of teaching and his thirteenth year at Kickapoo High School.
Mr. Cornelius is a member of NAfME, ACDA, MMEA, MCDA, and NEA and has served as Vocal Vice President of South Central District of the MMEA for 4 years.  Mr. Cornelius has been awarded Springfield Teacher of the Month April 2006 and MCDA Outstanding South Central Choral Director in 2013. Mr. Cornelius has held the office of Vocal Vice President office for South Central Missouri Music Educators for four years and is the Springfield Public Schools' Curriculum Development Coordinator for Secondary Vocal Music. Nathan lives in Springfield with his wife Kristin and three sons; Elijah, Jayden, and Ryan.

Sydney Dean​ - Mrs. Dean is in her third year of teaching at Kickapoo.  Mrs. Dean teaches communication arts.  Previously she taught at Mexico, MO.  Mrs. Dean assists in all areas of performance and choreographs the musicals, contest events, and readers theater.

PITT CONDUCTOR
Jordan Nimmo -
Mr. Nimmo is a Kickapoo High School graduate. Mr. Nimmo has been on staff with Kickapoo since 2005.  As an accomplished pianist and percussionist his time at Kickapoo has been spent teaching the many different instruments within the percussion family.  Mr. Nimmo founded the Kickapoo Concert Percussion Ensemble in 2007. Mr. Nimmo holds degrees from Missouri State University in Piano Performance and Instrumental Music Education and a Masters degree in education from Evangel University.

ASSISTANT CONDUCTOR
Annie Honeycutt - Mrs. Honeycutt is the director of orchestral activities for Kickapoo High School. She is a Springfield native, growing up in the heart of town and graduating from Parkview High School. Mrs. Honeycutt earned her Associate of Arts from Ozark Technical School (2009), her Bachelor of Music Education from Missouri State University (2013), and is currently working to complete her Masters of Music Education at Missouri State University. Mrs. Honeycutt has been teaching at Kickapoo since 2014 after student teaching with Mrs. Sibley at KHS in 2013. She has taught beginning string students through Missouri State University’s String Project since 2011, and became the Master Teacher for that program in 2014. She is an accomplished violinist and private teacher in Springfield where she lives with her wonderful husband Jakob Honeycutt and precious cats Marley, Zora, and Feo.
